A produ\u00e7\u00e3o aumentou rapidamente, como demonstra o facto de, j\u00e1 a 5 de julho, a mil\u00e9sima cabine ter sido transportada de Oevel para Eindhoven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A elevada qualidade das cabines produzidas pela DAF Vlaanderen levou a empresa, a tamb\u00e9m transferir a f\u00e1brica de eixos de Eindhoven para Westerlo, em 1971. Foi adicionada uma nova f\u00e1brica com 13 000 m2 \u00e0 linha de produ\u00e7\u00e3o existente, aumentando o comprimento da fachada ao longo da autoestrada para 380 metros. O n\u00famero de colaboradores aproximou-se gradualmente dos 1000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0Em 1985, a DAF Vlaanderen constru\u00edu uma nova f\u00e1brica de pintura de cabines, na altura considerada a mais ecol\u00f3gica da Europa. Menos de tr\u00eas anos depois, a f\u00e1brica de eixos tamb\u00e9m foi alvo de uma profunda moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o, garantindo os mais elevados padr\u00f5es de qualidade e desempenho dos eixos. Ali\u00e1s, foram investidos mais de 650 milh\u00f5es de euros em Westerlo nos \u00faltimos 10 anos, sobretudo para apoiar a nova gera\u00e7\u00e3o de cami\u00f5es <a href=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/index.php\/2025\/11\/26\/daf-iberia-renova-gama-de-camioes-rigidos-xd-e-xf\/\" id=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/index.php\/2025\/11\/26\/daf-iberia-renova-gama-de-camioes-rigidos-xd-e-xf\/\">recentemente <\/a>lan\u00e7ada. Estes s\u00e3o os primeiros cami\u00f5es no mercado desenvolvidos de raiz para cumprir os mais recentes regulamentos europeus relativos a massas e dimens\u00f5es de ve\u00edculos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Os modelos DAF XD, XF, XG e XG+ foram distinguidos como &#8220;Cami\u00e3o Internacional do Ano de 2022 e 2023&#8221;, estabelecendo novos padr\u00f5es de efici\u00eancia, seguran\u00e7a e conforto para o condutor. Os seus rob\u00f4s de pintura asseguram o elevado n\u00edvel de qualidade, minimizando simultaneamente o consumo de tinta. O impacto ambiental foi uma prioridade no respetivo desenvolvimento: permitindo reduzir as emiss\u00f5es em 50%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0Foi igualmente constru\u00edda uma nova f\u00e1brica de cabines. No departamento de &#8220;Carro\u00e7arias&#8221;, cerca de 145 rob\u00f4s trabalham em sequ\u00eancia para produzir automaticamente as cabines em branco, as quais depois s\u00e3o finalizadas de acordo com as especifica\u00e7\u00f5es do cliente no departamento de &#8220;Acabamento&#8221;.
