Na sua 5\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o em Portugal, o Delivery Excellence Challenge (DEC) da DPD tem por objetivo valorizar e reconhecer o trabalho dos motoristas a servi\u00e7o da empresa no nosso pa\u00eds, sejam eles funcion\u00e1rios do quadro ou motoristas das empresas parceiras e subcontratadas pela DPD, atrav\u00e9s de uma competi\u00e7\u00e3o saud\u00e1vel, com regras claras e iguais para todos os participantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A competi\u00e7\u00e3o nacional deste ano desenvolvida pela DPD Portugal, mais uma vez, foi um sucesso: quer pelo expressivo n\u00famero de motoristas participantes, quer pelo elevado grau de exig\u00eancia aplicado \u00e0 fase final desta a\u00e7\u00e3o, recentemente realizada na plataforma log\u00edstica da empresa em Coimbra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em entrevista \u00e0 Revista Automotive, David Miguel Pereira<\/strong>, Diretor do Polo de Servi\u00e7os e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o da DPD Portugal, destacou a import\u00e2ncia desta competi\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cUma das novidades deste ano foi anteciparmos a fase final da competi\u00e7\u00e3o para o m\u00eas de junho, ao inv\u00e9s do m\u00eas de setembro. Em decorr\u00eancia, tamb\u00e9m tivemos de antecipar a fase de qualifica\u00e7\u00e3o que abrangeu <\/a>todos os nossos motoristas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta fase decorreu entre os meses de fevereiro a maio, envolvendo cerca de 900 motoristas a n\u00edvel nacional dos quais se qualificaram 100 melhores motoristas. O crit\u00e9rio desta escolha baseou-se na qualidade das respostas ao nosso question\u00e1rio, com quest\u00f5es b\u00e1sicas relacionadas com as atividades da DPD e as suas tarefas enquanto motorista. Posteriormente, e destes 100 qualificados, foram analisados alguns indicadores-chaves focados no seu comportamento, forma de condu\u00e7\u00e3o, produtividades, entre outros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comportamento<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nesta fase interm\u00e9dia finalizada em maio, itens relacionados com as reclama\u00e7\u00f5es dos clientes, o comportamento do motorista<\/a> no seu dia-a-dia; a sua rela\u00e7\u00e3o com o chefe de equipa; com os seus colegas; o esp\u00edrito de entreajuda,<\/a> ou seja, tiveram uma maior pondera\u00e7\u00e3o, sendo que nesta etapa o chefe de cada equipa teve oportunidade de manifestar-se.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u00e1 para a fase final, que decorreu no in\u00edcio de junho na nossa plataforma de Coimbra, participaram os 27 motoristas que se classificarm a n\u00edvel nacional, em representa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s 14 esta\u00e7\u00f5es da DPD em Portugal e com pelo menos, um representante de cada unidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os finalistas participaram de provas, assentes em quest\u00f5es operacionais, para al\u00e9m de temas relacionados com sinistralidade, condu\u00e7\u00e3o defensiva, cuidados a ter na estrada, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na prova de per\u00edcia, por exemplo, utiliz\u00e1mos viaturas Renault Master 100% el\u00e9trica da nossa frota<\/a>, onde os motoristas realizaram um percurso seletivo dentro da nossa unidade, onde analis\u00e1mos a qualidade da condu\u00e7\u00e3o em geral, considerando ainda fatores como estacionamento em paralelo, traseira, de frente, ou seja, a qualidade t\u00e9cnica de cada motorista. Assim, enquanto um grupo estava a fazer esta prova, um segundo grupo participou na segunda prova que \u00e9 uma simula\u00e7\u00e3o de um circuito de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o. E aqui aumentamos bastante a exig\u00eancia. Simul\u00e1mos um dia de trabalho de um motorista, com a entrega em casa, ou seja, constru\u00edmos uma casa tipo, onde fizemos uma simula\u00e7\u00e3o de uma entrega residencial com toda a din\u00e2mica e a complexidade de uma entrega.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamb\u00e9m simul\u00e1mos a entrega numa loja pick-up <\/a>e uma entrega em locker, ou seja, durante o percurso havia tamb\u00e9m um locker da DPD para o motorista fazer entrega e depois havia tamb\u00e9m recolhas. Assim, a prova estava assente num dia de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o onde o motorista teve de realizar os tr\u00eas tipos de entrega que temos, em casa ou numa loja; numa loja pick-up ou num locker, e a recolha da encomenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dificuldades<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em todos estes pontos implement\u00e1mos algumas pequenas armadilhas, com o objetivo de medir a destreza e o conhecimento operacional dos nossos motoristas. Desde mercadoria que eles n\u00e3o podiam recolher, por exemplo uma mercadoria perigosa,<\/a> e assim percebermos como \u00e9 que eles reagem perante estes casos. Fomos muito exigentes na prova de circuito, que no fundo, \u00e9 a que melhor representa o dia-a-dia dos nossos motoristas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A exemplo das edi\u00e7\u00f5es anteriores, o Delivery Excellence Challenge da DPD deste ano decorreu num ambiente alegre e descontra\u00eddo, tendo como palco a nossa unidade de Coimbra que acolheu de forma exemplar os nossos motoristas, alguns colegas de dire\u00e7\u00e3o entre os quais o Rui Nobre (diretor geral) e a Carla Pereira (diretora de marketing e comunica\u00e7\u00e3o); bem como alguns convidados, que desfrutaram de bons momentos de conv\u00edvio na nossa fan zone tendo acesso \u00e0s v\u00e1rias atratividades, tais como simuladores de MotoGP ou de Rally, entre outras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No final, e depois de um dia vem vivido, foram premiados os 3 motoristas com melhores pontua\u00e7\u00f5es desta grande final, incluindo a entrega de um pr\u00e9mio de sustentabilidade ao melhor motorista da final em termos de tempo de Condu\u00e7\u00e3o vs. Consumo. Tamb\u00e9m atribu\u00edmos um pr\u00e9mio ao melhor motorista de ve\u00edculo pesado,<\/a> bem como um pr\u00e9mio monet\u00e1rio a todos os 27 finalistas. Agora, em outubro deste ano, o vencedor desta competi\u00e7\u00e3o da DPD Portugal ir\u00e1 representar a nossa empresa na grande final europeia, a ser realizada na Pol\u00f3nia\u201d, finalizou David Pereira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O p\u00f3dio da grande final deste ano de 2026 foi formado por Hugo Eires (DPD Coimbra no 1\u00ba lugar; Jo\u00e3o Santos (DPD Porto), em 2\u00ba lugar e F\u00e1bio Faustino (DPD Coimbra), em 3\u00ba lugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
