A Unidade de Emerg\u00eancia de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o e Socorro (UEPS) da Guarda Nacional Republicana, marcou presen\u00e7a na Expoflorestal para dar a conhecer o seu amplo leque de interven\u00e7\u00f5es na \u00e1rea florestal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A UEPS, sedeada na cidade da Guarda, tem tr\u00eas Grupos, divididos por oito Companhias de Interven\u00e7\u00e3o de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o e Socorro; por quatro Companhias de Ataque Estendido (CATE) e uma Companhia de Especialidades, estando presentes nos 18 distritos de Portugal continental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um dos v\u00e1rios exemplos de a\u00e7\u00e3o da GNR UEPS \u00e9 a interven\u00e7\u00e3o terrestre de combate a Inc\u00eandios Florestais. Neste caso, consiste no combate a inc\u00eandios florestais por uma Equipa de Interven\u00e7\u00e3o de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o e Socorro (quatro militares), que se faz deslocar com uma viatura ligeira de combate a inc\u00eandios florestais (VLCI). Esta equipa, al\u00e9m da viatura que possui cerca de 500 litros de \u00e1gua, disp\u00f5e ainda de material sapador para combate direto e combate indireto. <\/p>\n\n\n
