Os primeiros autocarros estar\u00e3o em opera\u00e7\u00e3o no in\u00edcio de 2024. Este acordo-quadro vem impulsionar as vendas da CaetanoBus do modelo H2.CityGold, o autocarro el\u00e9trico movido a hidrog\u00e9nio da CaetanoBus, que conta j\u00e1 com mais de 115 unidades vendidas para v\u00e1rias cidades europeias na Alemanha, Fran\u00e7a, Espanha, Dinamarca e Portugal. Arabia Saudita e Austr\u00e1lia t\u00eam tamb\u00e9m autocarros Caetano desde modelo em opera\u00e7\u00e3o.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O ve\u00edculo \u00e9 o resultado de uma parceria entre a Toyota e a CaetanoBus, sendo que a empresa portuguesa foi a primeira na Europa a utilizar a tecnologia japonesa. O modelo co-branded, entre a CaetanoBus e a Toyota, o H2.City Gold \u00e9 um autocarro standard 12m de piso baixo, com carro\u00e7aria de alum\u00ednio e que a partir de 2024 ser\u00e1 equipado com a nova gera\u00e7\u00e3o da pilha de combust\u00edvel Toyota que ter\u00e1 uma pot\u00eancia nominal de 70 kW. Esta Segunda Gera\u00e7\u00e3o da Pilhas de Combust\u00edvel da Toyota \u00e9 mais compacta, mais leve e ainda mais eficiente, fornecendo mais pot\u00eancia, do que a gera\u00e7\u00e3o anterior. A Toyota iniciou o desenvolvimento de pilhas de combust\u00edvel em 1992, sendo que continuou sempre a aperfei\u00e7oar a sua tecnologia do hidrog\u00e9nio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Os novos m\u00f3dulos da pilha de combust\u00edvel da segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o agora montados na Europa, nas instala\u00e7\u00f5es de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento da Toyota Motor Europe (TME), em Zaventem, Bruxelas. Com a nova Gera\u00e7\u00e3o da Pilha de Combust\u00edvel, a equipa de engenharia de I&amp;D da CaetanoBus aproveitou tamb\u00e9m para melhorar a integra\u00e7\u00e3o desta nova tecnologia no autocarro, utilizando agora o calor libertado da pilha de combust\u00edvel para aquecer mais rapidamente o habit\u00e1culo do autocarro e proporcionar ainda mais conforto na \u00e1rea dos passageiros e na cabina do motorista.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A CaetanoBus est\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m a implementar outras melhorias que ir\u00e3o potenciar o desempenho do ve\u00edculo, tais como reduzir ainda mais o consumo de hidrog\u00e9nio e aumentar o conforto da condu\u00e7\u00e3o. Todas estas melhorias t\u00eam como principal objetivo exceder expectativas dos clientes atuais e futuros. O H2.City Gold est\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m equipado com um conjunto de baterias de tecnologia LTO, com capacidade de 44 kWh e um motor el\u00e9trico com uma pot\u00eancia de 180 kW.
