No total da a\u00e7\u00e3o participaram aproximadamente uma centena de pessoas que juntas, plantaram mais de 1300 novos pinheiros no talh\u00e3o 48 do Pinhal de Leiria. Um esfor\u00e7o para restaurar a biodiversidade local, proteger o ecossistema devastado no dia 15 de outubro de 2017 e que ir\u00e1 permitir a sequestra\u00e7\u00e3o de 46, 8 toneladas de CO2 dentro de 10 anos.&nbsp;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Wayfer e a Iveco acreditam nos benef\u00edcios em promover iniciativas que t\u00eam em vista a sustentabilidade ambiental e a prote\u00e7\u00e3o das florestas portuguesas, como o pinhal de Leiria. Um pinhal de extrema import\u00e2ncia hist\u00f3rica, ambiental e que \u00e9 sentimentalmente importante a todos os portugueses em especial aos que residem nesta regi\u00e3o.\u201d \u201cEsta a\u00e7\u00e3o de refloresta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma pequena contribui\u00e7\u00e3o para a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o do Pinhal de Leiria, mas esperamos que inspire outras empresas e indiv\u00edduos a adotarem pr\u00e1ticas mais sustent\u00e1veis&#8221;, Refere Nuno Ferreira, diretor executivo da Wayfer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais do que uma a\u00e7\u00e3o de refloresta\u00e7\u00e3o, este \u00e9 um compromisso da Wayfer em reduzir a sua pegada ambiental e contribuir para a luta das altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas. A empresa tem investido em tecnologias limpas e implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas internas mais sustent\u00e1veis, visando reduzir suas emiss\u00f5es de carbono e minimizar os impactos ambientais das suas opera\u00e7\u00f5es.
