Na edi\u00e7\u00e3o anterior da Automotive, destacamos o centen\u00e1rio da Ferodo, e \u00e9 precisamente na Ferodo que a Valeo teve a sua origem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sob a lideran\u00e7a de Eug\u00e8ne Buisson, em 1923 a Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Anonyme Fran\u00e7aise du Ferodo (SAFF), come\u00e7ou a produzir e comercializar os primeiros materiais de fric\u00e7\u00e3o feitos em Fran\u00e7a, numa oficina na regi\u00e3o de Paris. Nos anos 30, a Ferodo passa a produzir kits de embraiagem completos, sob licen\u00e7a do fornecedor autom\u00f3vel alem\u00e3o Fichtel&amp;Sachs; e progressivamente passa a deter 50% das a\u00e7\u00f5es da LUK, o produtor alem\u00e3o de embraiagens baseado em B\u00fchl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_3166-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6585\" style=\"width:544px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_3166-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_3166-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_3166-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_3166-750x500.jpg 750w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_3166-1140x760.jpg 1140w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_3166.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>O per\u00edodo de boom p\u00f3s-guerra foi altamente din\u00e2mico tanto para fabricantes de autom\u00f3veis quanto para fornecedores de componentes. A SAFF, que tinha 2500 funcion\u00e1rios no in\u00edcio dos anos 50, aproveitou este per\u00edodo pr\u00f3spero para criar in\u00fameras inova\u00e7\u00f5es e estender o seu neg\u00f3cio para cobrir todos os tipos de equipamentos el\u00e9tricos para ve\u00edculos, tais como velas de igni\u00e7\u00e3o, alternadores e motores de arranque, bem como sistemas de igni\u00e7\u00e3o, ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o e limpa-para-brisas \u2013 uma estrat\u00e9gia que rapidamente deu frutos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ap\u00f3s numerosas aquisi\u00e7\u00f5es, e tirando partido da sua posi\u00e7\u00e3o quase monopolista no mercado franc\u00eas de fornecimento de equipamentos de travagem e embraiagem automotive, a Ferodo embarcou num novo desafio no in\u00edcio dos anos 60: expandir internacionalmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nos anos 70, a Ferodo e a Robert Bosch consolidam a sua parceria nos equipamentos eletr\u00f3nicos, sob uma empresa holding denominada \u201cFinanci\u00e9re d\u2019Equipments Automobile (FEA)\u201d onde a Ferodo \u00e9 s\u00f3cia maiorit\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 medida que os anos 1980 come\u00e7aram, a abrang\u00eancia da SAFF tornou-se global. A empresa tinha presen\u00e7a operacional em 15 pa\u00edses atrav\u00e9s de mais de 70 empresas. Surgiu ent\u00e3o a quest\u00e3o de reunir os v\u00e1rios neg\u00f3cios da entidade sob uma \u00fanica marca. Na sua Assembleia Geral Anual em 28 de maio de 1980, a empresa adotou o nome Valeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/eIMG_9681-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6586\" style=\"width:655px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/eIMG_9681-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/eIMG_9681-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/eIMG_9681-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/eIMG_9681-750x500.jpg 750w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/eIMG_9681-1140x760.jpg 1140w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/eIMG_9681.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Ferodo \u00e9 uma marca comercial&#8230; Valeo \u00e9 um conjunto de marcas, posicionando Ferodo ao lado de Cibi\u00e9, Ferlam, Marchal, Paris-Rh\u00f4ne, Sime, Sofica, Verto e outros&#8221; explicou na \u00e9poca, Andr\u00e9 Boisson, Presidente da Valeo &nbsp;(1977-1987).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nos anos 90 a Valeo continua a sua expans\u00e3o, atrav\u00e9s tamb\u00e9m de aquisi\u00e7\u00f5es, como foi o caso da empresa alem\u00e3 Borg, produtora de equipamentos eletr\u00f3nicos para autom\u00f3veis. Em 1995 a Valeo assina um acordo com a Siemens AG para produzirem conjuntamente sistemas de HVAC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde a sua primeira incurs\u00e3o no mercado espanhol at\u00e9 ao seu destaque na \u00c1sia nos anos 2000, a Valeo estabeleceu-se gradualmente como uma refer\u00eancia internacional no mercado autom\u00f3vel. Em 2017 d\u00e1-se mais uma expans\u00e3o, com a compra da FTE Automotive, empresa alem\u00e3 que empregava 4500 profissionais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Valeo acelerou o seu desenvolvimento internacional e, tirando partido da sua capacidade de inova\u00e7\u00e3o, concentrou-se no desenvolvimento de tecnologias para uma mobilidade mais limpa, segura e inteligente.
