Produzido na f\u00e1brica da Leyland em Inglaterra, o XB \u00e9 o sucessor do DAF LF, um modelo criado para o ambiente urbano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os clientes e a imprensa tiveram a oportunidade de testar v\u00e1rias vers\u00f5es carro\u00e7adas do XB no circuito de Jarama (Espanha). Tendo em conta que os cami\u00f5es n\u00e3o estavam carregados, e que um circuito de corridas autom\u00f3veis n\u00e3o \u00e9 o ambiente ideal para os cami\u00f5es XB, as ila\u00e7\u00f5es que podemos retirar da condu\u00e7\u00e3o, dizem mais respeito \u00e0 cabine e sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de condu\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O melhor resumo que podemos fazer, \u00e9 que o novo DAF XB \u00e9 mais \u201cLeyland\u201d do que \u201cDAF\u201d. A DAF com a sua recente renova\u00e7\u00e3o de gama (XF, XG e XD) passou para um patamar mais <em>premium.<\/em> Com esses novos modelos, a DAF afastou-se de um conceito mais econ\u00f3mico, passando a disponibilizar cabines com caracter\u00edsticas premium, bem como motoriza\u00e7\u00f5es que a tornaram uma refer\u00eancia em termos de consumos. A qualidade de constru\u00e7\u00e3o dos cami\u00f5es deu um salto qualitativo, mantendo a simplicidade de funcionamento dos cami\u00f5es sem recorrer a demasiada tecnologia de assist\u00eancia \u00e0 condu\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_100741-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6781\" style=\"width:635px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_100741-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_100741-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_100741-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_100741-750x563.jpg 750w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_100741-1140x855.jpg 1140w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_100741.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Simplicidade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O XB acabou por n\u00e3o ser contemplado por essa mudan\u00e7a de paradigma da marca, mantendo as caracter\u00edsticas do antecessor LF: um cami\u00e3o econ\u00f3mico e vers\u00e1til para a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o urbana. A cabine \u00e9 assim a mesma, com a diferen\u00e7a de ter um ecr\u00e3, que funciona como espelho retrovisor central, onde \u00e9 poss\u00edvel visualizar o que se passa atr\u00e1s da caixa de carga do cami\u00e3o, mesmo em andamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Face ao LF, o novo DAF XB traz uma diversidade de motoriza\u00e7\u00f5es mais concentradas nos segmentos de maior volume, ou seja, dos 170 aos 310 cavalos, e motoriza\u00e7\u00f5es de 4,5 litros (PX-5) e de 7 litros (PX-7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_103821-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6785\" style=\"width:793px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_103821-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_103821-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_103821-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_103821-750x563.jpg 750w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_103821-1140x855.jpg 1140w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20240508_103821.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>O turbo VTG desses motores foi substitu\u00eddo por um turbo waste gate (v\u00e1lvula de descarga), sendo que foram eliminadas as v\u00e1lvulas EGR e o seu circuito de refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o. Segundo a DAF, com isto conseguem uma melhoria de consumos na ordem dos 3%, em combina\u00e7\u00e3o com um novo sistema de p\u00f3s-tratamento de gases de escape. Esta \u00e9 disponibilizada em tr\u00eas n\u00edveis de bin\u00e1rio: 800Nm, 1000Nm e 1200Nm consoante a tipologia de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o que ter\u00e1 o cami\u00e3o. Os clientes poder\u00e3o assim, adquirir cami\u00f5es pr\u00e9-configurados, para uma grande variedade de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es, conforme a marca exp\u00f4s no recinto do circuito de Jarama. O objetivo \u00e9 ter cami\u00f5es para entrega imediata, facilitando as opera\u00e7\u00f5es das empresas que precisem de modelos carro\u00e7ados para as suas frotas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este programa est\u00e1 a ser criado em conjunto com carro\u00e7adores de refer\u00eancia (ver foto). Estivemos \u00e0 conversa com algumas empresas de transporte no evento, e a opini\u00e3o foi quase un\u00e2nime de que este programa tem tudo para dar certo.
