Este, utiliza uma c\u00e9lula de combust\u00edvel de hidrog\u00e9nio h\u00edbrida, auxiliada por baterias de l\u00edtio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O cami\u00e3o tem uma esp\u00e9cie de \u201ccentral el\u00e9trica\u201d instalada, que consegue <strong>produzir 2 megawatts de energia<\/strong> atrav\u00e9s da c\u00e9lula de combust\u00edvel (hidrog\u00e9nio). Em termos de funcionamento, o hidrog\u00e9nio entra na c\u00e9lula de combust\u00edvel do tanque e mistura-se com o oxig\u00e9nio para criar \u00e1gua, numa rea\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00edmica catalisada pela platina. Isso gera eletricidade, que \u00e9 usada para alimentar os motores que acionam as rodas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"645\" src=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/52050515057_4c85fa119c_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-710\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/52050515057_4c85fa119c_o.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/52050515057_4c85fa119c_o-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/52050515057_4c85fa119c_o-768x495.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/52050515057_4c85fa119c_o-750x484.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nas baterias, fica armazenada a energia el\u00e9trica gerada pela travagem regenerativa que, por sua vez, tamb\u00e9m contribui para a propuls\u00e3o do nuGen. Tendo em conta que este cami\u00e3o tem uma tara de 220 toneladas e uma capacidade de carga de 290 toneladas, totalizando as 510 toneladas de peso bruto, a travagem regenerativa tem um impacto significativo na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de<a href=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/index.php\/2022\/07\/11\/volvo-daimler-e-traton-vao-criar-1700-pontos-de-carregamento-na-europa\/\"> eletricidade<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A convers\u00e3o do motor a diesel ficou a cargo da empresa First Mode de Seattle, nos Estados Unidos da Am\u00e9rica. Na mina, est\u00e1 instalada uma central el\u00e9trica com energia solar, capaz de produzir at\u00e9 140 megawatts, para os eletrolisadores: sistema que usa <a href=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/index.php\/2022\/07\/11\/volvo-daimler-e-traton-vao-criar-1700-pontos-de-carregamento-na-europa\/\">eletricidade <\/a>para dividir a \u00e1gua em&nbsp;hidrog\u00e9nio&nbsp;e oxig\u00e9nio.
