Para assinalar o seu 100\u00ba anivers\u00e1rio<\/strong>, a Koelnmesse inaugurou um novo centro de eventos e congressos: o Confex. O novo edif\u00edcio, tecnologicamente e ambientalmente atuais, cria oportunidades para formatos de eventos na regi\u00e3o de Col\u00f3nia, na Alemanha. Ap\u00f3s quase tr\u00eas anos de constru\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 um elemento central do programa de investimento de mil milh\u00f5es de euros da Koelnmesse, empresa organizadora do sal\u00e3o The Tire Cologne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Durante 100 anos, a Koelnmesse tem sido um centro de ideias e inova\u00e7\u00f5es de todo o mundo. O Confex garantir\u00e1 esta posi\u00e7\u00e3o especial para a pr\u00f3xima gera\u00e7\u00e3o,” declarou o Ministro-Presidente da Ren\u00e2nia do Norte-Vestf\u00e1lia, Hendrik W\u00fcst, por ocasi\u00e3o da abertura. “Era o desejo do antigo Presidente da C\u00e2mara de Col\u00f3nia e fundador da Koelnmesse, Konrad Adenauer, que o espa\u00e7o se tornasse um lugar de encontro – um lugar que contribu\u00edsse para a compreens\u00e3o entre na\u00e7\u00f5es, entre a Alemanha e os pa\u00edses europeus vizinhos. W\u00fcst enfatiza que a Koelnmesse hoje \u00e9 um pilar importante para a Ren\u00e2nia do Norte-Vestf\u00e1lia como local de neg\u00f3cios e oferece \u00e0s empresas de todo o mundo uma plataforma para networking e abertura de novos mercados. N\u00e3o s\u00f3 gera valor econ\u00f3mico para a regi\u00e3o, mas tamb\u00e9m fortalece de forma sustent\u00e1vel o poder inovador e a reputa\u00e7\u00e3o internacional da regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pe\u00e7a central do edif\u00edcio Confex, com 20.500 m2, \u00e9 a Sala Confex. Esta sala pode ser dividida em tr\u00eas sec\u00e7\u00f5es e tem espa\u00e7o para 4.300 pessoas. H\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m dois n\u00edveis de confer\u00eancia com 22 salas, que podem ser usadas para uma ampla variedade de formatos de eventos gra\u00e7as \u00e0 variedade de tamanhos que v\u00e3o de 27 a 205 metros quadrados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O foyer leva diretamente ao terra\u00e7o ao ar livre de 5.600 m2, o Confex Plaza. Como parte de um dos maiores centros de exposi\u00e7\u00f5es do mundo, o Confex est\u00e1 ligado a espa\u00e7os adicionais, funcionalmente flex\u00edveis, significando que capacidade adicional pode ser acrescentada conforme necess\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais infraestrutura<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Com a nova abertura, a Koelnmesse est\u00e1 a fechar uma lacuna que existia na nossa infraestrutura de feiras h\u00e1 bastante tempo. Como um local especialmente atraente para congressos e eventos h\u00edbridos para mais de 6.000 convidados, o Confex atrair\u00e1 novos eventos e grupos-alvo para Col\u00f3nia. \u00c9 por isso que a cidade e o estado, como acionistas, apoiaram a constru\u00e7\u00e3o do Confex, mesmo em tempos dif\u00edceis,” salientou Henriette Reker, Presidente da C\u00e2mara de Col\u00f3nia e Presidente do Conselho de Supervis\u00e3o da Koelnmesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O novo edif\u00edcio de tr\u00eas andares foi projetado pela firma de arquitetura JSWD e integra-se perfeitamente no conjunto dos edif\u00edcios existentes da Koelnmesse. Juntamente com a nova Sala 1, o Confex forma a fronteira estrutural entre o recinto de feiras no centro da cidade e o Rheinpark a oeste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante 100 anos, a Koelnmesse tem sido um din\u00e2mico centro de inova\u00e7\u00e3o, com\u00e9rcio e coopera\u00e7\u00e3o internacional. A constru\u00e7\u00e3o do recinto de ferias foi impulsionada por Konrad Adenauer em 1924.
