Denominada G38, foi especialmente desenvolvida para trabalhar em conjunto com o V8 mais potente da Scania, o modelo topo de gama de 16 litros, com 770 CV. A G38 \u00e9 a \u00faltima\u00a0 vers\u00e3o das caixas de velocidades da s\u00e9rie G que foi introduzida pela primeira vez em 2019 (com o G33). Foi feita \u00e0 medida para lidar com o elevado bin\u00e1rio do V8 de 770 CV da Scania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As caixas de velocidades da s\u00e9rie G s\u00e3o tipicamente 60-70 kg mais leves do que as caixas de velocidades que est\u00e3o a substituir, principalmente devido \u00e0s caixas totalmente em alum\u00ednio e \u00e0s dimens\u00f5es gerais mais reduzidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outra conquista fundamental foi a redu\u00e7\u00e3o do ru\u00eddo, um pr\u00e9-requisito&nbsp; para conformidade com os regulamentos&nbsp; futuros . As mudan\u00e7as de velocidades destas caixas manuais automatizadas s\u00e3o efetuadas por atuadores pneum\u00e1ticos.
