Conduzimos o modelo K 8&#215;8 carregado (cerca de 40 toneladas de peso total) nos percursos da pedreira e fic\u00e1mos bem impressionados, mesmo sendo o nosso primeiro teste com um Renault Truck. A adapta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 condu\u00e7\u00e3o de um Renault Truck leva o seu tempo, mas depois que nos adaptamos, passamos a desfrutar do modo de funcionamento do cami\u00e3o em ambiente off-road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este modelo K 8&#215;8, apesar de n\u00e3o ter tra\u00e7\u00e3o permanente \u00e0s 8 rodas, consegue superar bem os desafios de um ambiente t\u00edpico de uma pedreira. Quando necess\u00e1rio, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel ligar a tra\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s 8 rodas e durante algum tempo circular com a tra\u00e7\u00e3o total. Esta gama tem duas motoriza\u00e7\u00f5es dispon\u00edveis: motor de 11 litros, nas pot\u00eancias de 380, 430 e 460 CV; motor de 13 litros com 440, 480 e 520 CV. Ambos os motores partilham caixa de velocidades Optidrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para o segmento da constru\u00e7\u00e3o, os modelos C e K da Renault Trucks podem ser equipados com longarinas refor\u00e7adas (v\u00e1rias vers\u00f5es) e tamb\u00e9m com caixa de velocidades Optidrive Extrem, para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es onde a robustez \u00e9 o fator primordial.
