Sendo a EGMais uma entidade gestora de baterias em fim de vida, Rui Cabral apresentou os n\u00fameros da eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos autom\u00f3veis onde a estimativa para 2030 \u00e9 que se vendam cerca de 40 milh\u00f5es de ve\u00edculos el\u00e9tricos, representando 32% das vendas mundiais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEsses n\u00fameros de vendas representam um aumento da procura pelo l\u00edtio de 5 a 7 vezes superior ao registado em 2021, o que vai gerar uma grande press\u00e3o sobre as reservas de l\u00edtio, que ser tornar\u00e1 uma mat\u00e9ria-prima escassa no mercado. A eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o autom\u00f3vel representa grandes desafios \u00e0 reciclagem das baterias, quer pelos rendimentos previstos do processo e do investimento necess\u00e1rio, quer gra\u00e7as \u00e0 instabilidade tecnol\u00f3gica das baterias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"818\" src=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_9200.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8000\" style=\"width:313px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_9200.jpg 600w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_9200-220x300.jpg 220w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Em Portugal n\u00e3o h\u00e1 nenhuma empresa que recicle baterias autom\u00f3veis de l\u00edtio, sendo necess\u00e1rio enviar essas baterias em fim de vida para o exterior. Tendo em conta o risco de explos\u00e3o, essas baterias necessitam de uma estrutura de transporte anti explos\u00e3o, que al\u00e9m de onerosa, aumenta bastante o peso do transporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para ultrapassar estes obst\u00e1culos, s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios est\u00edmulos para a incorpora\u00e7\u00e3o de material reciclado atrav\u00e9s da cria\u00e7\u00e3o de mercados de mat\u00e9rias (cr\u00edticas) secund\u00e1rias.
