E consoante essa varia\u00e7\u00e3o, a pick-up pode utilizar uma gama de lubrificantes de ligeiros de passageiros, como \u00e9 o caso das gamas EDGE, GTX e MAGNATEC; ou da gama de pesados, como \u00e9 o caso da VECTON.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A escolha do \u00f3leo do motor mais adequado ir\u00e1 depender de duas grandes caracter\u00edsticas: a do ve\u00edculo e da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o. A come\u00e7ar pelo ve\u00edculo, este depende do tipo de motor, da pot\u00eancia, da cilindrada, do ano de fabrico e, naturalmente, da marca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Utiliza\u00e7\u00f5es extremas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quanto \u00e0 utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o, esta pode variar, desde ser uma viatura de lazer e circular apenas em estrada, at\u00e9 ser um meio de trabalho que circule maioritariamente fora de estrada com carga. Dois exemplos extremos s\u00e3o as pick-ups que competem nas Bajas e as pick-ups que operam em minas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No caso das Bajas, o objetivo \u00e9 a velocidade, onde o \u00f3leo que utilizam \u00e9 o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.castrol.com\/pt_pt\/portugal\/home\/product-finder.html\">Castrol <\/a>EDGE 10w60. Este \u00f3leo \u00e9 o topo de gama, sendo utilizado nos BMW M de competi\u00e7\u00e3o e tamb\u00e9m nos modelos da Porsche, Lamborghini, entre outros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No caso das minas, as pick-ups costumam circular quase sempre carregadas, para transportar equipamentos e outros materiais da superf\u00edcie para o fundo da mina, e vice-versa. Essas pick-ups precisam de um \u00f3leo da gama VECTON, que \u00e9 a gama utilizada nos pesados de mercadorias, tendo a aditiva\u00e7\u00e3o correta para motores que operem em esfor\u00e7o de carga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"927\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/2u.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9229\" style=\"width:705px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/2u.jpg 927w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/2u-300x126.jpg 300w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/2u-768x323.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automotiverevista.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/2u-750x316.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 927px) 100vw, 927px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Claro que, entre um extremo e outro, existe no mercado um largo espectro de utiliza\u00e7\u00f5es das pick-ups e, por isso, a Castrol ter quatro gamas para estes autom\u00f3veis. Faz tamb\u00e9m toda a diferen\u00e7a ter especialistas que aconselhem as frotas, consoante as diferentes caracter\u00edsticas dos ve\u00edculos, da sua utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o e da tipologia dos clientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A experi\u00eancia que temos na Travocar, \u00e9 que quando visitamos os concession\u00e1rios e as oficinas, nem todos utilizam os \u00f3leos com as mesmas viscosidades e as mesmas especifica\u00e7\u00f5es. Alguns seguem os contratos que t\u00eam com as marcas, outros \u00e9 pela experi\u00eancia que t\u00eam, onde at\u00e9 resolveram problemas cr\u00f3nicos de certos motores, s\u00f3 por alterar a tipologia de \u00f3leo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O tipo de \u00f3leo depender\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m do local onde a frota faz a sua utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o. Se for em grandes cidades como Lisboa, Porto, a pick-up vai circular muito no p\u00e1ra-arranca e em viagens curtas.
